Silbertaler Waldschule
The first forest school in Vorarlberg is located on the Kristberg in Silbertal, nestling in a wonderful natural and man-made landscape. To smell, taste, feel and experience the mountain forest – this is the motto of the Silbertaler Waldschule.
The Silbertaler forest school is engaged with all facets of life in the forest. The contents of the guided tours of three to four hours are the general functions of the mountain wood and its use as well as special themes like “protective shield mountain forest”, “colours of the forest” or “the big crawling”. We teach these contents right on the spot, in every weather and in all seasons. The programme is adjusted to the requirements of various age groups and should mainly awaken joy and interest in the forest.
